Mrs. Eva White Short, 82, of 233 Ankle Road passed away Saturday,
February 4, 2012 at Cardinal Health Care and Rehab in Lincolnton.
Born in Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late Carl Mack White and
Lona Marie Smith White. Mrs. Short was a member of Reeps Grove United
Methodist Church and a retired furniture worker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill
Short; son, Harold Dean Short; five brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Short is survived by daughters, Margie Goble Taylor and husband Ken of
Cherryville, Judy Felmet of Lawndale, Ginger Millsaps and husband Michael of
Taylorsville and Tammy Short of Lawndale; six grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 pm Tuesday
at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel in Fallston. A guest register is available at

Services: The funeral will be at 2:30 pm Tuesday at Stamey Funeral Home
Chapel in Fallston with Rev. Harry Andrews officiating.
Burial: Reeps Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Vale
