Mrs. Evelyn Hamrick Mauney, 88 of McKinney Mill Road, Ellenboro, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010. Services were held at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Mrs. Mauney was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Effie Goforth Hamrick. 

She is survived by her husband Ivey Ray Mauney; one daughter, Donna Ray South and husband John of Savannah, GA; one sister Bonnie Houser of Fayetteville, NC and two granddaughters.
