Cherryville - Mrs. Evelyn Roberts Sabettie, 90, passed away on Tuesday,
November 29, 2016 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain.

Mrs. Sabettie was born in Gaston County, NC on March 24, 1926 a daughter of
the late Ernest Craig Roberts and Sara Adeline Elizabeth Weaver Roberts
Cody. She was a retired secretary and was a member of First Baptist Church
in Cherryville.

In additon to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony
"Tony" Sabettie, Jr. and a brother and sister-in-law, Paul C. Roberts and
Wilma B. Roberts.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia S. Isreal "Cindy" McNeil of
Cherryville; three grandchildren, Eric K. Isreal; Toni Isreal and wife Lori;
Leigh Isreal McBeth and husband, Ashley; 8 great grandchildren, Gavin
Isreal, Cassie Isreal, Dalton Isreal, Savannah McBeth, Lilly McBeth, Luke
McBeth, Paisley McBeth and Brittany Utley.

Visitation will be 10:45 AM to 11:45 PM, Friday at the First Baptist Church.


Funeral Services will be 12:00 Noon, Friday at the First Baptist Church with
Dr. Vince Hefner and Rev. Perry Holleman officiating.

Burial will be at City Memorial Cemetery.
