Everyone’s A Winner At This Livestock Show!
The idea was first proposed by Will Thompson, Cleveland County Fair Superintendent Of Livestock. With a great deal of help from Phyliss Elmore and a generous contribution from Pat Reithoffer of the Reithoffer Shows, and assistance from Burns High students, it came together. The first ever, livestock show for those very special kids, 25 in all, from North Shelby School who competed in a very special dairy goat show. They practiced, got their name tags, and then entered the arena to display their goats. Their fun faces were filled with joy and excitement during the competition. Finally, the judges announced that it was too hard to pick a winner and that each contestant would receive a first place blue ribbon and trophy!
