Faye Marie Arrowood Dellinger, age 81 formerly of St. Mark's Church Road passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Carolina Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 8, 1937 in Cleveland County to the late William Erskin and Leona Edna Arrowood.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Buren Dellinger and siblings, Viola Wright and Preston, Donald and Fred Arrowood.
She is survived by her daughter, Rose Dellinger Kiser, and husband Harvey of Cherryville; granddaughters, April Kiser and husband, Andrew Poston of Shelby and Jennifer Tindall and husband, Andrew of Stanley; siblings, Ray Arrowood, Hoyt Arrowood and wife, Carolyn and Roy Arrowood and wife, Shirley.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30 until 3:45 PM at the funeral home.
