Mrs. Florene Ford Styles, age 103, Formerly of 412 North Mountain Street, died Christmas Day at Carolina Care Center, Cherryville. Florene was born in Gaston County on December 17, 1909, the daughter of the late Charlie Lloyd and Laura Lenora Harrelson Ford, her husband was the late Albert Sidney Styles. She was a homemaker, formerly working at Grier Beam Truck Museum and a Life and Oldest Member of the First United Methodist Church, Cherryville.
Survivors: A number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the First United Methodist Church of Cherryville, NC on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Rick Fite officiating, Burial will be in the City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 at the church.
Memorial may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Furnace Fund, 601 North Pink Street, Cherryville, N. C. 28021 or Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150.
