Floyd Kenneth Rollins, 80, of 237 Tryon Road, Rutherfordton, died Tuesday,
March 13, 2012 at Willow Ridge Nursing Center in Rutherfordton.
Born November 21, 1931 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Griffin
Gold Rollins and Minnie Oates Rollins. He was retired from Shelby Printing
and was a member of Norman's Grove Baptist Church. Kenneth served in the US
Army.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers, Paul,
Edward, Grady, Thurman and Ray Rollins; and two sisters, Dorothy Upton and
Marjorie Burton.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Jenkins Rollins; two daughters, Carole
Rollins Gardner and husband, Lou of Morganton and Connie Rollins Davis of
Greer, SC; brother, Gene Rollins of Shelby; sister, Virginia Baldwin of
Boiling Springs, NC and one grandson, Jonathan David Gardner.
Graveside Service: 3:00 PM, Wednesday at Norman's Grove Baptist Church
Cemetery.
