SHELBY- Floyd Ray Mauney, Jr., 59, of South Lafayette Street, passed away Thursday December 17, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare Systems-Cleveland. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Floyd Ray, Sr. and Harriet Louise Eubanks Mauney. He owned and operated Mauney's Auto Trim Shop in Shelby.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife Jane Yarbro Mauney of the home; three sons, Floyd Ray Mauney, III and wife Leslie, Michael Lee Mauney and wife Katie both of Shelby, and Jason Dekalb Mauney and wife Adrianna of Boiling Springs; two sisters, Mary Mauney Hardin and husband Eddie and Donna Mauney Pierce all of Shelby; two grandchildren, Victoria Rose Mauney and Jaxon Lee Mauney.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 3pm Sunday at Elizabeth Baptist Church.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

CLERGY: Dr. Rit Varriale and Rev. Ray Farrow will officiate.

BURIAL: Sunset Cemetery
