Floyd William Decker, age 83, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died June 19, 2013 at his home.  He was born in Catawba Co, NC to the late Claude and Mamie Minton Decker.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Hillard Decker and sisters, Lou Savage, Deanie Davis, and Irene Chester.  Mr. Decker was a wonderful and devoted husband, father and friend who will be greatly missed.  He enjoyed reading his Bible, playing guitar, and fishing.   He loved to be around people who enjoyed his good hearted pranks.

Son: John William Decker, Shelby, NC

Daughters: Helen Kendrick and husband Darren, Shelby, NC

 Sherry Williford, Valdese, NC

Brother: Jones Decker, Granite Falls, NC

Sisters: Elsie Killian, Conover, NC and Aileen Carver, Granite Falls, NC

5 Grandchildren: Chad Wishon, Barry Decker, Wesley Clontz, Kensley Kendrick, and Katie Kendrick.

1 Great Grandchild: Abby Decker.
