Frances Ann Brendle Costner

Frances Ann Brendle Costner, 80, of Morganton, went home to be with her Lord
and Savior on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Magnolia Lane Nursing &
Rehabilitation in Morganton.

Born January 20, 1935 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late
Grover Voyd Brendle and Zula Alice Propst Brendle. She attended the
Magnolia Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers,
Brian, Jim, Joe, Stowe and Pate Brendle and a sister, Geneva Brendle Black.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Daniel Costner of Vale; son, Danny
Costner and wife, Suzanne of Conover; granddaughter, Danya Costner & Nick
Miller of Morganton; three great grandchildren, Brandon, Shawn and Ethan;
brother, Steve Brendle and wife, Sue of Vale; two sisters, Camilla Brendle
Daniels of Winston-Salem and Gladys Grose and husband, Huett of Forest City;
brother-in-law, Walter Black and sister-in-law, Bobbie Heavner Brendle.

Also, Frances Ann leaves behind special "family friends" Zennie, Wilma,
Arlene, Jamie, Kadence, Braylen, James, Becky, Cindy, Savannah, Faith and
Destiny.

Special thanks to Catawba Regional Hospice and the staff at Magnolia Lane
Nursing and Rehab for the care and love that she received during her stay.
She became a grandma to all.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday at Bingham Memorial
Church, 6517 Fallston Road, Lawndale with Pastor Ronnie Ledford officiating.

Burial will be private.
