Frances Gallman Simpson, 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Born in Sumter, SC on October 29, 1939 a daughter of the late Arthur Vanderbilt Gallman and Elsie Mae Pinson Gallman. She was a homemaker and a member of House of Prayer Church in Shelby.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Ray Gordon and Richard Gordon; two daughters, Sandi Gordon and Gail "Gaye" Gordon and three brothers, Ray Gallman, E.J. Gallman and Ronnie Gallman.

Survivors include two sons, Tony Gordon of Shelby; Leroy "Rusty" Simpson, Jr. and wife Pam of Concord; two daughters, Sherry Dunn and husband Scott of Shelby; Tammy Smith and husband Shane of York, SC; one brother Charlie Gallman and wife Jean of Dobson; also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:45pm to 2:45pm on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Coye Sanders officiating.

Burial will be at the House of Prayer Church Cemetery in Shelby.
