Blacksburg -- Frances Jane Dover Lamb, 78, of 214 Wilbur Street, passed away Thursday, October 15th, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the widow of Jerry Lamb and the daughter of the late Pete Dover and Willie Falls Dover. Mrs. Lamb retired from textiles and was a member of the Garden Temple Assembly of God.

Surviving Mrs. Lamb are two sons, Wayne Lanier of Blacksburg and Ricky Lanier of Wilmington, NC; a great-grandson raised in the home, Jordan Lanier; one sister, Sue Repik of Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren, Crystal Norman, Joshua Lanier, Nick Lanier, Shannia King, and Clyde King Jr; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lamb was preceded in death by her first husband, Walt Lanier; a son, Mike Lanier; and a daughter, Sandra King.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 17th, 2015, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 18th, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Garden Temple Assembly of God with Rev. Danny Marshburn officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens.
