Frances Myers Tinsley, 91, 201 S. Shelby Street, Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord , February 11, 2013, at Peachtree Centre, Gaffney, SC. She was the daughter of the late James Earle and Inez Myers Tinsley. Born is Spartanburg, she attended Winthrop College and Evans Business School and served in the Women's Army Corp during WWII. She retired from Sealtest. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her brother, William A. Tinsley, of Kings Mountain, NC; one nephew, Kevin Tinsley of Lees Summit, MO; and four great-nephews - Kelly D. Tinsley, Kevin P. Tinsley, William A. Tinsley, II, and Timothy Tinsley.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-7:00 PM, at St. John's United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. John's United Methodist Church, 11:00 AM, February 15, 2013, with Rev. Don Boshell officiating. Interment with military rites will follow at Frederick Memorial Gardens. At other times, they will be at their respective homes.
