Frances Pruett Runyans, 88, died Tuesday June 5, 2018 at Testa Family Hospice. A native of Cleveland County, she was born to the late Weldon and Melissa Franklin Pruett. She retired from PPG after a number of years as a secretary. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Shelby. She considered First Baptist of Shelby to be her second family.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Manley Runyans.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her very close friends, Jonanna Robbs and Carolyn Putnum, both of Shelby and Gail Garner of Lake Wylie; first cousin Judy Mitchell of Cow Pens, SC; Uncle Rev. Gene and Mrs. Franklin of Cow Pens, SC; and sister-in-law Melba Tate of Union, SC.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of James & Jonanna Robbs.

FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 7, 2018 at Clay-Barnette

OFFICIATING: Rev. Tony Tench

BURIAL: will follow the service at Sunset Cemetery
