Mrs. Frances Ruby Crane Woodell, 84, of 3419 Smith Rd.  passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Autumn Care of Drexel.

Mrs. Woodell was born in Rutherford County, NC on May 7, 1929 a daughter of the late Robert Joseph Crane and Victoria Bowen Stanley.  She was retired from Huggers in Lincolnton as a seamstress.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edmund R. Woodell; a daughter, Susie Barrier; two stepsons, Bill and Junior Woodell; and one stepdaughter Mae Lee Tessneer.

Survivors include four sons, Eddie Joe Woodell of Lawndale, Ricky Woodell of Cherryville, Tim Woodell of Belwood and Robert Woodell of Morganton; five daughters, Ann Tessneer of Lawndale, Joan Bass of Troutman, Edna Patrick of Morganton and Cindy Wright of Morganton; two brothers, Garland “Bud” Crane and J. D. Crane both of Morganton; three sisters, Ruth Webb of Rutherford County, Hazel Perry of Bessemer City and Betty Crane of Morganton.  Mrs. Woodell is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 10:45 until 11:45AM at Stamey Funeral Home in Fallston.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Wayne Tessneer and Kevin Crawford officiating.

Burial will be at Polkville Methodist Church Cemetery.
