Francisco "Paco" Elcides Mauricio
Francisco "Paco" Elcides Mauricio, age 40, of Forest City, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, December 9, 2015.
Born October 1, 1975 in Usulután, El Salvador, he was the son of Jose Benjamin Mauricio and Maria Enma Mauricio who reside in Forest City. Francisco was an avid soccer player, and devoted his life to God and his family. He was passionate about Jesus and sought to shine for Him every day. Francisco's life verse was Joshua 1:9.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife of nine years, Karla Ascencio Mauricio; his five year old daughter, Sarai Mauricio; four sisters, Blanca Norma Romero, Iris Mauricio, Marlene Hernandez and Gladis Mejia; six brother in-laws, Francisco Romero, Roberto Mejia, Luis Hernandez, Robert Ascencio, Johnny Ascencio and Edwin Arbaiza. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, Daniel and Gabriel Romero, Alexis and Derek Arbaiza, Robert, Emaly and Sofia Mejia, Isabella and Ely Hernandez.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock in the morning on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church of Forest City with Elder Elias White officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday at Harrelson Funeral Home.
