Frank Drewery, age 66, died Monday, December 23, 2019 at his home. Born in Cleveland County on November 21, 1953, he was the son of the late J. L. and Mary Edna Johnson Drewery. David worked as a carpenter for construction at Morrison Construction. He enjoyed working with wood and building various things. David was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. He enjoyed farming and working on tractors. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a daughter, Lea Ann Drewery, a brother, Joey Drewery; a sister-in-law, Kay Drewery

Frank is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dixie Drewery; a daughter, Lynn Hooper and husband Dedrick of Shelby; five grandchildren, Lucas Wease and Hayden Wease both of Shelby, Devan Moody of Fl, Jessica Harris of Shelby, and Morgan Moody of Fl.; two great grandchildren, Nathan Harris and Harper Harris; two brothers, Louis Drewery of Shelby and Tommy Drewery and wife Susie of Cherryville; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Trexler officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
