Frank Haywood "Bill" Deviney
 Frank Haywood "Bill" Deviney, 89, of 845 Golden Valley Rd. died Saturday
July 9, 2011 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.

Born May 1, 1922 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Joseph
Miller Deviney and Junie Belle Angle Deviney. He was a retired residential
carpenter and a member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church. Mr. Deviney
served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie
Marie Cook Deviney,  two sons, Greg & Barry Deviney, seven brothers,
Clayton, Ophus, Horace, Colin, Glenn, Bob, and Quinton Deviney and one
sister Mamie Self.

Survivors include one daughter, Jan S. Deviney of Casar, daughter-in-law,
Joann Deviney of Linchfield, Minn., two sisters, Ruth Stancil and Dorothy
Cook both of Casar, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was also
the favorite uncle of many nieces & nephews.

The funeral service will be at 2:00PM Monday July 11, 2011 at Mt. Moriah
United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Miner officiating. The casket
will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends
following the service.
