Frank Richard Bruce, Sr., 69, of 306 N. Rutherford St, Lot 2, passed away June 15, 2019, at home. He was the husband of the late Barbara Buchanan Bruce and son of the late Ed and Kate Stiles Bruce. He loved his family, fishing, and dirt track racing. He worked in maintenance in the textile industry.

Left to cherish his memory are one daughter - Amanda Richards(Luther, Jr.); one son - Frank Richard Bruce, Jr., all from Blacksburg; and one brother - Harry Ray Bruce, Sr. of Gastonia, NC. In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by one son - Christopher Lee Bruce.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 6-7:30 PM, at White Columns Funeral Service. Graveside Service will be held Friday, June 21, 2019, at 1:00 PM, at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC, with Rev. Norman Band officiating . At other times, the family will be at the home.

Pallbearers serving are Ricky Coker, Austin Varnadore, Brian Lear, II, Kelly Whiten, Eric McCoy, and David Gibson.
