Mr. Franklin "Frankie" Lee Glenn, 54, of Charles Road Apartments
passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at his residence.
Born in Columbus, Ohio on June 11, 1959, he was a son of the late Franklin
Hoover "F.H." Glenn and Elizabeth Ann Hubbard Glenn of Shelby.
Frankie was a member of Polkville Baptist Church, a former employee of NC
Department of Transportation, and served in the Marine Corp for three years.
In addition to his mother, Frankie is survived by brothers John Glenn of
Casar and David Glenn of Shelby; sisters, Carolyn McNeilly of Shelby, Mary
Bridges of Charlotte and Patricia Ross of Shelby; a number of nieces and
nephews; and friends and family at Adventure House.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm Tuesday
at Stamey Funeral Home in Fallston. At other times the family will be at
the home of Elizabeth Glenn, 2004 W Stagecoach Trail, Shelby, NC 28150.
Funeral: The funeral service will be 3:00 pm Tuesday at Stamey Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Rick Hamrick officiating.
Burial: Rose Hill Memorial Park
