G.C. Black, age 70, a resident of Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born in Cleveland County and was the son of the Late Frank and Lillie Mae Henderson Black. A loving husband, father and grandfather who loved the Lord whole heartedly and loved gardening, sharing his produce with others and will be continued by his family. He also loved motorcycles and his dogs. He was a member of Christ the King Church, Shelby, NC and a retired textile employee.

                          Grandson: Nate Black due in October

                          Sister-in-Laws: Edith Black and Betty Black, Kings Mountain, NC
