Blacksburg - Ruth Gallman Collins, 99, of Cherokee Falls Road, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, Ruth was the widow of Ralph D. Collins and the daughter of the late John and Lottie McFarland Gallman.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Bobby Collins and David Collins (Brenda); her grandchildren, Kristin Collins, Bobby Collins Jr. (Dawn), Richie McDonald (Angie), Candice Moore, and Misty Collins; nine great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Collins, and her grandson, Clay Collins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 19th, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Scott Suttles officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Bobby Collins Jr., Donnie Smith, Eddie Smith, Mike Martin, Jordan Martin, Lucas Moore, and George Martin will serve as pallbearers.
