Gary Ralph Maynor, Sr.

Blacksburg -- Gary Ralph Maynor, Sr., 61, of 101 Hopewell Ridge Road, passed away Friday, May 4th, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Wyatt Maynor and Doris Stanford Maynor. Mr. Maynor worked as a painter and attended Encounter Church.

Mr. Maynor is survived by one daughter, Tracy Ledbetter and husband, Jerry, of Blacksburg; one son, Gary Maynor, Jr. of Blacksburg; one brother, Gid Maynor of Blacksburg; one sister, Becky Maynor of Gaffney; six grandchildren, Gary Lee Maynor, Dalton Evans, Ashlie Ledbetter, Devon Maynor, Tylor Ledbetter, and Austin Maynor; and two great-grandchildren, Ali Evans and Kimrie Ledbetter.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018, from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Joel Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Frederick Memorial Gardens. Gid Maynor, Traye Maynor, Tylor Ledbetter, Devon Maynor, Gary Lee Maynor, and Donald Stanford will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

The family will be at the residence of his daughter, Tracy Ledbetter, at 141 Wright Drive, Blacksburg, SC.

Daddy, You are now in heaven, we can only imagine what it is like. We will miss you, but be waiting for us, Daddy, because we will be with you again one day. We love you. Bubba and Tracy.
