Gene Eural Harris, age 86, resident of Kings Mountain, died September 2, 2016 at Kings Mountain Hospital. Born in Cherokee Falls, SC he was the son of the late James Henry Harris and Eloise Jenkins Harris. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Harris and Henry Harris and two sisters, Delores Jackson and Shirley Childers. He was retired from Spartan Truck Lines, Greer, SC. He served in the US Army and was a active member of member of Family Worship Center - Church of God, Kings Mountain. He was also a # 1 dad.

Grandchildren: Melissa Gaddis and husband Eric, Kings Mtn;

Morgan Harris Cooper and husband Brad, Charlotte;

Jeffrey M. Harris and wife Jessica, Kings Mtn; Tyler L. Harris,

Kings Mtn; Marguerite T. Harris, Isle of Palms, SC.

Brother: Dennis R. Harris, Tarboro, NC;

Sister: Joyce H. Vance, Sacramento, California

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, September 5, 2016, 2:00 PM, Family Worship Center, Kings Mountain, NC with Dr. Roger Woodard officiating.

VISITATION: 12:30 - 1:30 Prior to the service in the church foyer. At the home at other times.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
