George Alan Fuller Jr.

KINGS MOUNTAIN-George Alan Fuller Jr., died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at White Oak Manor of Kings Mountain. A native of Cumberland Co., he was the son of the late George Alan Fuller Sr. and Glennie Hill Fuller. He graduated from Hickory High School, and served in the Army heavy artillery deployed in Pacific Theater four years. He was also a graduate of NC State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Alan was a member of First Baptist Church, a lifetime member of Kings Mountain Rotary, and an Eagle Scout.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Pune Hunsucker.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Barker Fuller, of the home; sons, Edward Alan Fuller of Mt. Sterling, KY, and Thomas Johnson Fuller of Kings Mountain; daughter, Ruth Glenn Fuller Bryson and Carl Ford of Commerce, CO.; sister, Jane Fuller Hunsucker of Hickory; and many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Services will be held 11a.m., Monday, at First Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Monday, 9:30-10:30, in the Stain Glass Room of First Baptist Church, and other times at his home.

BURIAL: Will follow at 2:30pm, at Oakwood Cemetery in Hickory

CLERGY: Dr. John "Chip" Sloan will officiate
