Mr. Gerald Broadus Norman, 83, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022. He was born August 23, 1939, son of the late D. B. Norman and Ida Harrill Norman. Gerald is preceded in death by step-mother, Lucretia Hord Norman; one brother, James A. Norman and wife Louise; one sister, Katherine Norman Carpenter.

Gerald is survived by nephew Michael Norman and wife Connie; two great-nephews, Timothy Norman and wife Debbie, Richard Norman and girlfriend Bonnie Mathis; great-great nephew Tanner Norman.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be offered to Elizabeth Baptist Church, 301 N. Post Rd., Shelby, 28152.

To honor the life of Gerald Norman a funeral service will be Saturday, October 15, 2022 in the sanctuary of Elizabeth Baptist Church at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The family will receive friends an hour prior. Burial will follow at the cemetery of Elizabeth Baptist Church.
