| Mr. Gerald Franklin Tilley, 73, of Boiling Springs, NC passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011. A memorial service was held at Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
Mr. Tilley served our country in the US Navy for four years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Nichols Tilley and Alma Aycock Tiller and his brother, Nelson Bowles Tilley.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlotte Tilley of the home; daughters: Lee Ann Walsh of Raleigh; Christine Tilley-Hatcher of Shelby five grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Moore and husband, Doug Epping, New Hampshire; a brother, Donnie Tilley and wife Jean of Bahama, NC; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
