Geraldine Baker Dellinger
Geraldine Baker Dellinger, age 87, of 3477 Crouse School Road, died Thursday, November, 29, 2012 at Carolina Medical Center Lincolnton.  She was born in Gaston County on April 15, 1925, the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Etta Austin Baker.  Geraldine retired from the Carlton Yarn Mill, Cherryville and later worked in Food Services for Gaston County School System and Keystone of Cherryville. Geraldine  was a member of Crouse United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eli Dellinger, a daughter-in-law: Nelta Dellinger, and five sisters:  Flossie Coffee, Evelyn Sellers, Irene Ramsey, Virginia Tate, and Pauline Craighead.
 
Survivors:  Sons and daughter-in-law:  Tommy Dellinger of Denver, Dennis Dellinger of Vale, Curtis and Zelda Dellinger of Gastonia.  Daughters and sons-in-law:  Paulette and Ronald Sain of Vale, Kay and Larry Wise of Lincolnton.  Nine (9) Grandchildren and Twenty (20)  Great Grandchildren. One Sister: Inez B. Bridges of Cherryville.
 
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00PM Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Crouse United Methodist Church , with the Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to  the funeral service with burial to follow in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hwy 182, Lincolnton.
 
The family will be at  the home and will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, November 30, 2012 at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Cherryville.
