Glenda Colleen Keeter Jenkins, age 78, of Gastonia, formerly of 224 Green Meadows Dr., Kings Mountain, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at Kings Mountain Hospice House.
She had remained with her daughter Barbara until she passed away.
Daughter of the late Jasper Edward "Jack" Hanna and Katherine Winnie Hanna, she was born September 24, 1936 in Gaston County, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Clayton Jenkins; grandson, Terry Adam Boone; brother, Donald Ray Hanna; and sister, Barbara Kay Merrington
Mrs. Jenkins was well versed in the Bible.
She enjoyed camping, sewing, going to the mountains, and painting.
Glenda was the greatest mother and most beloved grandmother.
She was all about her family and deeply loved all her children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her children and spouses, Dale Keeter and wife Aura of Pasadena, California, Karen G. Hendren (Mark) of Salisbury, Donna R. Boger (Ronnie) of Salisbury, Barbara K. Parker and husband Gene of Gastonia, Scotty L. Keeter and wife Annette Deborah Keeter of Waco, NC, honorary Godson, Tim Shirlen and wife Tracy; half-sister, Tina Sharer and husband Greg of Florida; brother, Keith Hanna; sisters, Mildred Moore and Margaret Mullinax; 19 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
