Glenda Faye Bost Guffey, 78 of 128 Pete Mauney Road passed away
April 26, 2016 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born June 13, 1937 in Iredell County, she was a daughter of the late Francis
Burette Bost and Georgia Connie Beaver Bost. She was retired from Baker and
Century Furniture and was a member of Hudson Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce
Bobby Guffey; and two infant brothers and one sister.

Survivors include three daughters, Dianna Brady of Hiddenite; Sandra Lyons
of Lawndale and Tia Hood of Lenoir; step-son, Lance Guffey of Forest City;
brother, Barry F. Bost of Columbia, SC; five grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday at Hudson Memorial
Baptist Church

Funeral Service will be 12:30 PM on Saturday at Hudson Memorial Baptist
Church with Rev. Richard Shores and Mrs. Frances Hudson officiating.

Burial will follow in Hudson Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery
