Goldie Ann Hastings Jones, 88, of 332 West College Ave, Shelby, passed away
on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

Born September 22, 1927 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Luther Hastings and Delsie Greene Hastings. She was retired from Lilly Mill
and was a member of Lilly Memorial Baptist Church in Shelby.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene
Marion Jones; a grandchild, Doug Jones and four sisters, Mildred Ward,
Elizabeth Melton and Ruby Hastings and Lucy Hudson.

Survivors include a son, Marion Douglas Jones of Boiling Springs; two
daughters, Sherry Clary and husband, Tim of Shelby and Cissy Goode and
husband, Wayne of Mooresboro; brother, Roy Hastings of Casar; two sisters,
Lola Cook of Casar and Blanche Poole of Valdese; four grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home & Cremation Center

A graveside service will be 2:30 PM, Saturday at Rose Hill Memorial Park
Mausoleum, Fallston
