Mr. Gregory Andre Briscoe, 57,  of 522 Lineberger St. Shelby, NC departed this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at his residence.  He was born on December 13, 1956 in Norfolk VA to the late Summie Milton and Billie Jean Wray Briscoe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Milton Briscoe and Sylvester Littlejohn.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three children, Khadijah Simone Briscoe of Gastonia, NC, Jamaal Antoine Briscoe also of Gastonia and Zakée Briscoe of Shelby; one sister, Linda Briscoe Wilson (James) of Kingstown, NC; two brothers, Kenneth Briscoe of Shelby and Darryl Briscoe of CA; six grandchildren, Jahir, Jordan, Jámir, Anisys, Janya and Zakée, Jr.; one sister-in-law, Grace Briscoe of Shelby; one aunt, Sarah Carouthers of Shelby; his fiancé, Shelia Degree of Shelby; the mother of his children, Jackie Toms Conley also of Shelby and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel with Rev. Claude London officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:00 PM at the chapel on Wednesday and at other times at the home.  Condolences can be expressed online at www.enloes.net.  Enloe Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
