Grover -- Harold E. "Hank" Foster, 80, of 100 Watterson Rd., passed away Friday, January 27th, 2017, at Carolinas Medical Center.

Born in Cherokee County, SC, he was the husband of Pamela Martin Foster and the son of the late Erastus and Ethel Foster. Mr. Foster retired from textiles and was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Foster is survived by two sons, Jeff Foster and William Moore, both of Kings Mountain; four daughters, Sherry Revis of Kings Mountain, Angelia Boland of Lincoln, GA, Sharon Putnam and husband, Jeff, of Kings Mountain, and Lisa Payne and husband, Richard, of Gastonia; one brother, Max Foster, of Maryland; one sister, Joanne Roundtree, Kings Mountain; 28 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Dwayne Roger Moore; two brothers, Steve and Gene Foster; and a sister, Elizabeth Rippy.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 30th, 2017, from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31st, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Paran Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Mt. Paran Baptist Church Cemetery. Phillip Cobb, Lucas McDaniel, Dalton Evans, Ricky Revis, Skyler Revis, Tyler Revis, Jeff Foster, and Richard Payne will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence.
