Harold Junior Bivens, age 80, of Summerow Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, July 15, 2018.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Little and Rev. Richard Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home. At all other times, the family will be at the home of Mr. Bivens' son at 2613 Summerow Road in Lincolnton.

Mr. Bivens was born January 3, 1938, in Lincoln County, to the late John Lourico Bivens and Maebell Canipe Bivens. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Byrd Bivens; and a brother, Bobby Lee Bivens. He retired from Vermont American Tool Company after thirty-three years of service.

He is survived by a son, Tom Bivens (Sandra) of Lincolnton; five daughters, Cindy Dellinger (Darrell), Shelby Brooks (John), Wanda Helton, Tammie Bandy (Ken), and Sherry Gantt (Kenneth), all of Lincolnton; two brothers, Richard Bivens (Sue) and Roy Bivens (Cindy), all of Lincolnton; three sisters, Brenda B. Savage (Roney) of Newton, and Kay B. Terry and Faye B. Ventura (Emilio), all of Lincolnton; sister-in-law, Essie Bivens of Vale; grandchildren, Brian, Wesley, and Matthew Jarrell, Ethan and Sarah Bivens; great-grandchildren, Kaylon Towery, Jada, Jaliegh, and Jacey Jarrell; and his beloved dog, Sally.
