Harold Nathan “Pappy” Pryor,
Harold Nathan “Pappy” Pryor, age 83, of Mooresboro, NC, died Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
 
     Pappy was born April 6, 1930 in Cherokee County, SC to the late Fred Pryor and Edna Jones Pryor.  He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. Pappy worked in all facets of construction most of his life and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and working hard. 
 
     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Darryl Pryor; grandson, Glenn Bradley, Jr.; brother, Wayne Pryor; three sisters, Shirley Pryor, Frances Horn and Evelyn Martin.
 
     Survivors include his wife of forty-six years, Doris Padgett Pryor; three sons, Jerry Clifton Bradley of Rutherfordton, Ralph Eugene Bradley and Charles Glenn Bradley both of Mooresboro; daughter, Katherine (Kathy) Renee Baynard of Mooresboro; two sisters, Bobbie Setzer of Mt. Holly, NC and Geraldine Pryor of Belmont, NC; two brothers, Jack “Shorty” Pryor of Belmont and Buddie Pryor of Spokane, Washington. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
 
     Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Dewayne Langley officiating and military honors being accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.  Graveside services will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont at 3:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
