Harold Otis Lane, 86, of Greenwood, SC, and formerly of Blacksburg, SC, died December 24, 2015, at Self Regional Medical Center, Greenwood, SC. He was the son of the late Leslie and Goldie Neal Lane. He loved the Atlanta Braves.
He is survived by one sister, Thelma Lane Kinard of Gaffney, SC; a niece and caretaker, Gloria Smith, of Starr, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Hoyt Lane, and two sisters, Virginia Lane Gallman and Selma Lane Withers.
A graveside Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Mountain View Cemetery, Blacksburg, SC, with Rev. Ronald Gaines officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
