Harold Wayne Ervin, Sr., age 66, resident of 413 Alan Drive, Kings Mountain, NC took his last breath on earth and his first breath in heaven on September 10, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Edward Herbert Ervin and Lura Mae Black Ervin. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Earl Ervin, and Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Leonard and Otie Smith. Mr. Ervin worked in the textile industry at Elizabeth Weaving, Grover, NC and in construction with his family. He was an active member of First Wesleyan Church, Kings Mtn. NC where he served on the Church Board. He served in the United States Army. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, papa and friend who enjoyed woodworking, crafts, fishing, hunting, and hiking.
