Mr. Harry Gene Gold, 85 of 2770 Clineland Road, Cherryville passed away February 1, 2015 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain.

Born May 5, 1929 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Carr Lee Gold and Ocie Cabiness Gold. He owned a General Merchandise Store and was a Army Veteran.

He was survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia Cline Gold; two daughters, Jennifer Fitzpatrick and husband, Bruce of Cherryville and Vickie Beam and husband, Gary of Kings Mountain; and two grandchildren, Lacey Beam and Brittany Beam.
