Rev. Harry Queen, 88, of Kings Mountain transitioned to his eternal home on December 12, 2025.

Rev. Queen was born in Cleveland County, NC to the late George I. Queen and Amanda Cook Queen. He served as a minister in the United Methodist Church for 43 years and was the current minister at Lawndale Missionary Methodist Church for the last 17 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Queen; three brothers, Tommy Lee Queen, Eugene Queen and Mitchell Queen and a sister, Betty Weaver.

Rev. Queen is survived by his wife of 68 years, Goldie Friant Queen; two sons, Leslie Queen and wife, Rosemary of Kings Mountain and Bradley Queen of Harrisburg; two daughters, Ann Q. Russell and husband, Dr. Kenneth Russell of Greensboro and Jillian Queen of Mt. Pleasant and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
