SHELBY- Helen Bryant Hamrick, 92, went to be with her Lord, June 23, 2015, at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Molly Gilreath Bryant. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, and worked at Fiber Industries and Jack's Fast Food. She loved to quilt, embroider, and play Bible trivia in the Star. She would enter the contest, win Bibles, and give them to others.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hamrick Sr.; son, Larry Hamrick; sister, Mary Alice Hamrick; and brother, Elmer Bryant.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughters, Faye Putnam and husband Gordon of Winston-Salem, and Pam Hamrick of Shelby; sons, Michael Hamrick and wife Julia, Jack Hamrick Jr, and wife Myrna, and Doug Hamrick, all of Shelby; grandchildren, Lori Cobb and husband Glenn of Winston-Salem, Eric Putnam and wife Wendy of Charleston, SC, Tiffany H. Putnam and husband Nick of Shelby, Amanda H. Lynch and husband Chad of SC, Haley Hamrick, Jeremy Hamrick and wife Heidi, Justen Hamrick and Marcie Wright, Jarrod Hamrick and wife Tabitha, all of Shelby, Robbie Hamrick, Lindsay Hamrick, and Tad Keller; 20 great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Friday, 6pm, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home, and other times at her home.

BURIAL: Burial will following the church cemetery
