Henry Franklin Dorsey age 60, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. Born in Cleveland County on March 5, 1955, he was the son of the late Edward Eugene and Sara Roberts Cline Dorsey. Henry was an active member of Zion Baptist Church. He worked for 22 years as a salesman for Maxwell Hamrick Insurance Agency. Henry spent many enjoyable hours watching his children play sports and coaching baseball. He was an avid supporter of Burns High School athletic events. In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Beth Dorsey, and two brothers, Randy Dorsey and Spencer Dorsey.

Henry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Becky Smith Dorsey; two sons, Dennis Dorsey and wife Crystal of Charlotte, and Cody Dorsey of Shelby; a sister, Margie McCabe and husband Roger of Ohio; a brother, Eddie Dorsey and wife Nancy of Golden Valley; sister-in-law, Wanda Scruggs and husband Danny of Shelby; and many special nieces and nephews

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 3:00pm at Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Storie and Rev. Troy Dorsey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center.
