Lincolnton - Mr. Herman Carl Fischer, 75, passed away on Monday, January 8,
2018 at Carolinas Healthcare Systems, Lincoln.

Mr. Fischer was born in Alleghany, New York on July 19, 1942 a son of the
late Leonard Fischer and Crystal Brittian Fischer. He was retired from
Dexter Electronics and also worked for Redneck Trailer Supply in Lincolnton.
Mr. Fischer served in the US Army during Vietnam and was a Past Commander at
Lincolnton VFW Post 1706.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Dylan
Johnston; a brother, Howard Fischer and a sister, Janet Fischer.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Katherine Dubetsky Fischer of the
home; two daughters, Gayle Reedy and Pamela Johnston both of Lincolnton; a
brother, Leonard Fischer, Jr.; five grandchildren and five great
grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 9:45 to 10:45am at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel.

Burial will be private.
