Mr. Hill Alexander Carpenter, 89, of Waco, NC passed away into life eternal on Thursday, April 14, 2011. Services were held at Waco Baptist Church, Waco, NC. Burial followed in Capernaum Cemetery.
Mr. Carpenter was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Mabel Goodman Carpenter; his parents, Della H. and David W. Carpenter; 2 infant siblings; 2 brothers, Bill Carpenter and Ralph Carpenter; and 1 sister, Kathleen Carpenter Price
He is survived by 3 sons, Ronald A. Carpenter and wife Suzanne of Cherryville, Kenneth B. Carpenter and wife Carolyn of Lewisville, and Larry C. Carpenter and wife Dena of Morganton; 1 sister, Virginia Curry and husband Tom of Shelby; 6 grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law, Selma Carpenter; and 3 nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Waco Baptist Church Life Center; or to: Capernaum Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 297, Waco, NC 28169.
