Hugh Lee Causby, 67 of 1448 Fletcher Road, Shelby, passed away June 25, 2015
at Kings Mountain Hospital.

Born June 9, 1948 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late John Albert
Causby and Magdelene Thackerson Causby. He was retired from the Department
of Transportation and was a member of Elliott Memorial Church.

In addition to his parent he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years,
Patricia Ann Fortenberry Causby and two nephews, Robert Brian Bridges and
Gary Causby.

Survivors include a brother, Larry Causby and wife Elaine of Shelby;
sister-in-law, Sandra Shelnutt of Casar; mother-in-law, Iona Self
Fortenberry of Casar, nieces, Brenda Allen and husband Travis, Crystal
Jackson, Brittany Causby, Savannah Bridges; nephews, Christopher Jackson,
Jordan Causby and Robbie Bridges and special friend Sarah Earwood.

The family will receive friends one hour before the services at the funeral
home on Monday. A guest register is available at

The funeral will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home & Cremation Center Chapel with the Rev. Tim Ware officiating.

The burial will follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
