Ima Emma Cook
 Ms. Ima Emma Cook, 83, of 401 N. Morgan Street passed away
Saturday, February 25 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Broadus Wesley Cook
and Mattie Jane Downs Cook.  Ms. Cook was a member of St. Paul Baptist
Church and  in her early years she worked for Southern Bell in Charlotte.
She was a homemaker and lived with her two brothers in the homeplace.  
An avid Burns fan, she enjoyed attending and watching ball games.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Leonard,
Rayford and Wayne Cook and sister, Ailene Cook.

Mrs. Cook is survived by brother, Jack D. Cook of Casar; sisters, Murriel
Isenhour of the George Hildebran Community and Edna Bostian of Kannapolis;
nephews, Tony Isenhour, Aaron Bostian and Alan Bostian and nieces, Quin
Isenhour Cline and Anya Bostian Peters.

Visitation: The family will receive friends immediately following the
service.  A guest register is available at 
www.stameyfuneralhome.com.

Funeral Service: The funeral will be 2:00 pm Monday at St. Paul Baptist
Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
