Inez Wright Rhoney

Inez Wright Rhoney of Cooksvile Road, passed away May 10, 2015 at the
home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Jack Bridges.

Born August 19, 1921 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late
Edgar Sylvanus Wright and Bertha Houser Wright. She was a member of
Ebenezer United Methodist Church. For many years she helped operate
Rhoney's Dairy Farm. She was a caregiver for her husband for eleven years.
Inez's greatest joy was working in her yard and flowers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Pearlie
Edward Rhoney; a son, Arnold Edward Rhoney; two half brothers, Evan and
Grady Wright; three brothers, Drew Jacob, Stowe and Joe Wright; one sister,
Eunice Bradshaw; two step brothers, Forrest and Glenn Reynolds.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ellen (Sissy) Bridges and husband, Jack
of Hickory; a son, Bennett (Benny) Rhoney of Hickory; one brother, Lee
Wright of Denver; one sister, Ezelle Bradshaw of Lawndale; two
sisters-in-law, Mildred Rhoney and Joann Wright both of Vale; two
stepsisters, Hattie Rosten and Betty Lou Huss of Hickory; eight
grandchildren, Todd, Shasta and Ty Bridges, Lisa Hoke, Phillip, Tim and
Crystal Rhoney and Tracy Cline; nine great-grandchildren, Anna Bigelow,
Casey Hedrick, Leah Rhoney, Gauge and Elijah Hoke, Aaron and Samantha
Rhoney, Amanda and Dawn Hicks; nine great-great grandchildren; two special
caregivers Noelle Stevens and Julie Dellinger of Hospice and numerous nieces
and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
& Cremation Center, Fallston

Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday at Ebenezer United Methodist
Church with Rev. Tony Sayers officiating. The body will be placed in the
church thirty minutes before the service.

Pallbearers will be Todd Bridges, Ty Bridges, Phillip Rhoney, Gauge Hoke,
Elijah Hoke and Aaron Rhoney.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
