Irene Emaline Richards Daves, 94, of 2517 Eric Rd., Shelby passed away
Friday December 18, 2015 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.

Born May 5, 1921 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Ezra
Richards and Bertha Hartzell Hayes Richards. She was retired from Universal
housecoat mfg. and was a member of Polkville Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donell
Daves, daughter & son-in-law, Deloris & J.W. "Jake" Bridges, brother, Cecil
Richards and one sister, Vera Murray.

Survivors include three daughters & two sons-in-law, Verlene & Charles
Suttles of Gastonia, Glenda & James Beaver of Shelby and Cynthia Watts of
Lincolnton, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

The visitation will be 2:00PM until 3:00PM Sunday at Stamey Tysinger Funeral
Home & Cremation Center.

The funeral service will be 3:00PM Sunday at Stamey Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center Chapel with Rev. Rick Hamrick officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
