Iva Lee Turner Sain, 97, of Park Dr, Polkville, passed away March 20, 2013 at Peak Resources in Shelby.
Born December 23, 1915 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Furman Turner and Jane Wellman Turner. She was a retired spinner for Lawndale Mills and Doran Mills.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Franklin Sain, and three sisters, Bryte Reynolds, Ailene Head, and Mae Hicks.
Survivors include three sons & daughters-in-law, Charles & Marjorie Sain of Polkville, Michael & Elaine Sain of Polkville, and Steve & Larea Sain of Lawndale, three daughters & two sons-in-law, Doris & Ray Berryhill of Charlotte, Kay & Willie Haggar of Charlotte, and Diane Heavner of Fallston, one sister, Irene Turner of Gastonia, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.
Funeral Service will be Friday at 3:00 PM in the Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston with the Rev. Rick Hamrick officiating.
Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
