J.V. Moore, 96, of 322 Pearson Street, passed away on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021, at his home.

Born in Gaffney, he was the widower of Mary Estelle Moore. Mr. Moore retired from textiles and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving Mr. Moore are a son, Yates Moore, a daughter, Patricia Ann Herron, three brothers: JK, HK, and Leon Moore, six grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 6th, 2021, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
