Jack Bennett “Benny” Heafner, Jr., age 62, of 1208 Tot Dellinger Road, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at home. Benny was born in Lincoln County, the son of the late Jack Bennett, Sr. and Peggy Jeanette Gantt Heafner. He worked at Trinline Furniture Co. for 25 years.
Survivors: His wife Gloria Kay Drum Heafner, of the home, two sons Benji Heafner and Willie Heafner both of Cherryville. Sister and brother-in-law: Sandra and Leroy Edwards of Cherryville. Grandchildren: Chyenne Heafner and Savannah Heafner, both of Cherryville.
Memorial Services will be conducted at Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter’s Funeral Home at
3:00 PM, January 31, 2013 in Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter’s Funeral Home, with Chaplin Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 pm, prior the service at the funeral home.
